My name is Juliyah Brevard and I am a senior at Clark Atlanta University pursuing a Bachelor’s Of Arts degree in speech communications. With an anticipated graduation date of May 20, 2023. I am interested in working in the communications marketing industry because of my experience working with Clark Atlanta University’s International programs department. There I developed a variety of skills such as critical and analytical thinking, research, data collection, mass communication, and writing. I am interested in a full time position or internship in summer 2023 for the opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking team. I am confident I can use my creativity, problem solving, and effective communication skills to make a positive contribution at your company.


My goal is to grow, expand my knowledge, maximize my fullest potential, and engage with new people across the world. I am a positive innovative, personable, authentic, and free-thinking creative. Fully invested in communications, mass media arts, fashion, and world cultures. The New Black Wall Street 1st African Fashion Show

Responsible for casting the talent, booking credible makeup artists, styling the outfits, and curating makeup looks. Enhanced the creative vision, and collaborated confidently with backers to produce the show. Created an environment for the team to think positively, outside the box, and produce their best work. Initiated the entire creative process and mentored 20 models through a cohesive creative strategy. The event served as a charitable endeavor to generate money for displaced families and Christmas presents for kids.

Beau Chaos 1st Fashion Show

Within a week, a marketing strategy was put into action. This was a self-directed video featuring the designer's talent and clothing. I instructed every creative moment the talent expressed to meet the look of the advertisement. I also organized a campaign group to advertise on foot in Atlanta's metropolitan areas. Resulting in a 50% increase in revenue and new branding content for the client. I created the brand visuals including the flyers and brands promotional materials.

Developed all of the advertising and marketing initiatives that resulted in a 100% organic increase in sales and a sold out show. Delegated committee meetings with collaborators developing harmonious relationships and monitoring the progress made by each member. Recording data reported in the meetings and fostering the projects scope. Devoted to achieving deadlines and successfully managing appointed operations. Supervising the analytical growth of ads to model campaign strategies.

Demonstrating the values associated with leadership performing administrative tasks optimizing the work flow and eliminating redundant actions. Recruited the talent and coordinated coaching sessions with 35 participants. Integrating creative approaches and relationship-preserving tactics for communicating across numerous media platforms.

Selected to serve as the model coach for Whale Branch Early College High School’s annual fashion show. Using styling techniques I prepared garments and looks to best suit each model. Spearheading the development of the program’s theme through effective communication and collaboration. Through intentional engagement and leadership efforts I successfully increased the programs retention rates by nearly 40%. Resulting in a significantly higher talent

Working with a fantastic group of young professionals and students studying mass media art. By serving as the sound board operator for the first play production following the pandemic, "Marcus or the secret of sweet," I gladly assisted Clark Atlanta's Theatre Arts program. Getting first-hand experience with both curating the flow and putting a production together. Following the cues and the script aiding in creating a fantastic experience.
